
This course provides participants with the skills to manage common first aid situations that can arise in an electrical services industry environment, including rescue from low voltage panels. It is suitable for people employed as electricians and others employed in the electrical services industry.

This is a 6 hour face-to-face course.
Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
- Must be able to perform CPR on a manikin on the floor for 2 minutes.
- Are required to bring a mobile device or tablet with internet connection to the face-to-face session.
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a pre-requisite* unit of competency for UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel and UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
*St John delivers the pre-requisite unit of competency alongside the UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel and UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel.
What certification do you get?
This is an accredited course. On successful completion of this course, you will be issued a statement of attainment in:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
St John Ambulance advises, in accordance with The Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: First Aid in the Workplace and the guidelines of the Australian Resuscitation Council, first aid skills are renewed every 3 years and resuscitation skills are renewed every 12 months.
