Corporate & Professional Services

Information Technology, Finance, Marketing & Communications, People & Culture, Administration and Business Support — enabling our services and volunteers to operate effectively statewide.

Commercial

Delivering services that support community and workplace safety:

  • First Aid Trainers (always in demand)
  • Workplace Servicing — installing, restocking and maintaining first aid kits and safety equipment
  • Business Development and Sales
  • Customer Experience and Bookings
  • Product and Retail Support

Health Services

Delivering and coordinating specialist programs and operational services that support community health and resilience across Queensland.

Roles may include:

  • Operations and Event Planning
  • Logistics and Operational Coordination
  • Ophthalmic Services — supporting vital eye health programs across Queensland, from driving and supporting the Eye Van in the community through to coordinating and managing the program behind the scenes
  • Youth Program Coordination — planning, coordinating and supporting youth programs that build capability, confidence and future pathways
  • Program and clinical support roles (role dependent)

Community Services

Support Workers, Community Drivers, Customer Care, Dispatch & Scheduling and program support roles — working directly with individuals and communities, often alongside volunteers.

Our Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process reflects our values and One Team St John culture — respectful, transparent and people-focused.

  1. Apply online (submit your Cover Letter and Resume)
  2. Initial review by People & Culture/Hiring Manager
  3. Interview (Teams and/or In Person)
  4. Reference checks
  5. Pre employment medical assessments
  6. Probity checks, including a Police Check and Blue Card (required for all team members)
  7. Offer and structured onboarding

Onboarding & On-the-Job Training

Once onboarded, all team members are supported through on-the-job training to ensure they are set up for success.

This includes:

  • Organisational induction, covering our values, culture, systems, safety and expectations
  • Role-specific training, tailored to your position, responsibilities and service area
  • Ongoing guidance, support and coaching from leaders and experienced team members
