First Aid in Schools
Our First Aid in Schools Program is a free program that teaches primary school children lifesaving skills to give them the confidence to act in an emergency.
Delivered by qualified educators, sessions are highly interactive and age-appropriate, using hands-on activities, demonstrations, and scenario-based learning to make core First Aid concepts easy to understand and remember. Students learn how to seek help, call for assistance, and take safe, simple actions that can make a real difference while waiting for adults or emergency services.

Anaphylaxis e-training for Schools and Children's Education/Care
Queensland Department of Education staff are required to complete the ASCIA Anaphylaxis e-Training for Queensland State Schools, developed by ASCIA and provided free to departmental staff. The course covers recognition and emergency management of anaphylaxis in school settings.
After finishing the online training, participants complete a practical demonstration with St John using adrenaline trainer devices. St John will sign the certificate to confirm practical competency.
