How to make a booking

Book your trip.
Once you are registered you will be free to make bookings up to three months in advance, our phones are open from 7am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Step 3
Travel in style.
One of our friendly drivers will collect you at your doorstep and then all you need to do is enjoy the ride in one of our clean, spacious hybrid vehicles.
Transport services questions
When you begin using our services, we will explain the costs involved. Fees and charges vary depending on the type of service and whether it is government funded, subsidised, or self-funded.
If the person is receiving subsidised services through the CHSP or the Queensland Government Community Transport Program, you will be asked to contribute to the cost of those services.
All clients receive a monthly invoice, with payment required within 7 days of the issue date.
Yes, we will endeavour to get to as close to your home or desired location as is feasible.
This is a shared service, meaning sometimes you may travel with others onboard.
Yes, just let our team know who will be travelling with you when you book your trip.
While we will always make every effort to transport you to the exact location you request, please be aware that parking restrictions may prevent us from doing so. St John Transport vehicles are not legally permitted to park in taxi ranks, clearways, loading zones, or emergency vehicle parking spaces.
Our services operate on a pre-booking basis and are not "on demand" like taxi or ride-share services. Bookings are taken by our booking agents between from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Ideally, bookings for the following day should be made by 12:00 noon. However, we encourage you to contact us as early as possible as we may still be able to accommodate late requests depending on availability.

When making bookings please call us on 1300 785 646 – Community Services (option 1) then Bookings (option 1). Alternatively, you can call our direct line on 07 3632 9907, text your booking request to 0428 799 085 or email transportbookings@stjohnqld.com.au.
When making a booking please provide the following information:
your name and address;
the date and time of your appointment;
your destination, including the exact address and the time you need to be there;
the requested return time;
if you are travelling alone or with a carer;
If there are any particular preferences relating to the transport service that we might be able to accommodate, such as specific pick-up or drop-off instructions.
Please remember that if you no longer require your booked transport, contact the office as soon as possible to cancel your trip. If you do not give 24 hours (1 business day) notice for a cancellation, you may be charged a cancellation fee for that booking.
Please call by 12pm the working day prior, when making a transport booking. We may be unable to take same day bookings.
Please note all bookings are subject to availability. We always do our best to accommodate each booking.
