Course Description

This course covers the proper administration of paracetamol and methoxyflurane to relieve pain. It includes information about the use, storage, and documentation of administration as well as ongoing monitoring of the casualty.

The course is applicable for personnel from emergency services, volunteer organisations or organisations that provide a medically supervised first aid service.

Delivery Mode & Duration

This is a 4.5 hour face-to-face course.

Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

  • Participants are required to undertake or present evidence for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid prior to commencing the course.
