Volunteering Roles

Community Driving

Working as a larger team, volunteers provide door-to-door transport in a St John vehicle. This is a safe and affordable option for essential travel to appointments and other vital services.

Location: Brisbane, Toowoomba, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Hervey Bay

Delivering Groceries To The Elderly
Community Visitor Scheme

Our team of compassionate volunteers provide connection and friendship by visiting people in our older community either in their own home or in an Aged Care Facility on a regular basis.

Location: Queensland wide

Social Support - Accompanied Activities / Shopping

Volunteers assist our clients through accompanied shopping, bill paying, attendance at appointments and other social outings.

Location: Brisbane, Bundaberg, Maryborough and Hervey Bay.

Social Trips

Volunteer your time to reduce social isolation amongst our most vulnerable. Join our valued community clients as they enjoy a range of exciting social gatherings and outings, offering a diverse array of activities to connect you with fellow enthusiasts!

Telephone Services: Friendship Calls & Security Calls

Committed volunteers provide regular phone calls to older people in our community. These calls provide positive and uplifting conversation and provide much needed friendship.

Event Health Services

Our Event Health Services (EHS) team attend events all across the state, providing support and first aid services to our local and regional communities.

First Aid Action Hero
First Aid in Schools

Our team of volunteer educators teach primary school students about the importance of First Aid and what to do in the event of an emergency.

Administration or Supply Chain

Working alongside office staff, volunteers can support in many ways by providing administrative and warehouse support. Roles and hours are flexible.
