Opal Halliday

Opal first joined St John Ambulance Queensland in 2020 as Manager of Volunteering Community Services.

With a focus on the transition to the Aged Care Reform – Support at Home Program and NDIS growth Opal has worked to create strategic plans for innovation, guide ideation processes and launch new services and processes ensuring focus on continuous improvement.

Providing leadership, program support and strategic development for numerous Government funded aged care community and volunteer programs, Opal oversees our Community Services department ensuring compliance standards and statutory obligations are met.

Opal is responsible for management of our fleet vehicles of various capacity, community services team members and volunteers providing services within the Aged Care, NDIS and Education industry state-wide.
