PFA
The flagship St John Ambulance first aid course covers a comprehensive range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty. It covers the most common first aid injuries and illnesses. It is suitable for both people in the workplace and members of the public who want training in first aid.
Asthma and Anaphylaxis
This course is designed to give you the confidence, knowledge, and skills to recognise and manage asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies including the use of the asthma inhaler and the adrenaline auto-injector.

Certificates
This is an accredited course. On successful completion of this course, you will be issued a statement of attainment in:
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
22578VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
22556VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace
Credit Transfer
St John offers a Credit Transfer for participants who have completed HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation within the last 3 months. A copy of the Statement of Attainment MUST be issued to the Customer Care Centre 7 days prior to the course commencement.
Delivery Mode & Duration
We offer a variety of delivery methods to suit your needs. You can attend a Public Course selected from the list below. You can also request this course to be delivered on-site at your workplace or a venue of your choosing. Please contact us for further information.
2 Days
This course involves an online eLearning module prior to attending the face-to-face workshops for practice and assessment. This is delivered with the separate Asthma and Anaphylaxis VIC competencies.
