Description

This course has been especially designed for seniors as well as those who care for them.

This course content varies by location and may cover some or all of the following:

• Process of Aging​
• Heart attack and stroke​
• Diabetes​
• Cuts and Scrapes​
• Falls (and fractures)​
• Poisoning and pill confusion​
• Heat and Cold-Related Illness

There is no formal assessment as part of this course, but an opportunity is provided to practice practical skills.

Certificates

On successful completion of this course, you will be issued with a St John Ambulance statement of attendance. This is a non-accredited training course.

Delivery Mode & Duration

We offer a variety of delivery methods to suit your needs. You can attend a Public Course selected from the list below. You can also request this course to be delivered on-site at your workplace or a venue of your choosing. Please contact us for further information.

Half-day session including practical activities.
