Our Certificate III In Basic Health Care is a specialist course designed for workplace first aiders at industrial sites.
This course is designed to incorporate training in equipment and skills specifically structured to manage a casualty within a workplace.
Working with industry experts, students will obtain practical experience utilising first aid equipment, and confidence in managing casualties in an industrial and remote setting.
Note: Students undertaking this course need to have literacy skills equivalent to year ten English.

Recommended recertification period
The First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice recommends that first aiders should attend training on a regular basis to refresh their first aid knowledge and skills, and to confirm their competence to Provide First Aid.
The Australian Resuscitatio Council recommendations training in CPR annually to maintain relevant skills.
