Our Combined Asthma and Anaphylaxis course is a stand-alone course that provides students with the skills and knowledge to handle asthma and anaphylactic emergencies in the workplace, and develop an anaphylaxis or asthma risk assessment and emergency management plans.
This course is ideal for educators and support staff working within an education and child care setting who hold a current Provide First Aid certificate, however need additional competencies to work in their field.
When combined with a current Provide First Aid certificate, this course meets all requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training under the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care National Regulations, and the Queensland Education and Care Services Act and Regulations.
For those who work in an education and child care setting, but do not hold a first aid certificate, it is recommended that they complete Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in Childcare Plus+.
