St John Ambulance (Qld) and AgForce join forces to urge all Queensland farmers to ensure they have a life-saving defibrillator on their farms to respond in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest.
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Without a defibrillator close by, the survival rate for cardiac arrest is somewhere between two and five percent.
Most farmers live and work in remote locations a long way from medical assistance. Having equipment like first aid kits and defibrillators on the property is critical.
For Queensland Farmers
St John Ambulance (Qld) will provide FREE CPR training, alarmed cabinet, carry case, responder kit, signage visibility kit with every Defibtech Fully-Automatic or Defibtech View defibrillator purchased by AgForce members.
