St John Ambulance Australia is a self-funding charitable organisation active in all states and territories, dedicated to helping people in sickness, distress, suffering or danger. We have been active for more than 130 years and internationally are part of a wider organisation with a long and honourable history.
At St John Queensland, we are passionate about saving lives through first aid.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of Queenslanders, their families and the community through the delivery of innovative training, first aid and community social support services.
Our aim is to have at least one person educated, equipped and prepared to provide first aid in every home, workplace and public gathering.
Every year we teach thousands of people how to save a life, and from 2018 we will provide free first aid training to Queensland primary school-aged children.
We provide first aid in local communities, keeping people safe at small gatherings and also large scale events.
We equip individuals, families and workplaces with high-quality first aid kits and equipment.
We’re also there in the face of disaster, working alongside our emergency services organisations in times of our community’s need.
Communities across Queensland benefit from the charitable services St John and our volunteers provide.
To provide these services, St John Queensland needs donations from members of the public to expand and support the growing demand for the services.
If you believe in the positive and valuable work of St John Queensland, please show your support by donating to our organisation. You can choose to make a regular gift, single donation or a bequest. Whatever you give will go directly towards supporting the work of St John in our community.
A donation of $5 minimum is required to offset any merchant fees. All donations over $2 are fully tax deductible.
