Request for First Aid Services
St John Ambulance is the premier provider of First Aid Services at public events and festivals throughout Queensland. Our members include qualified and licensed Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Advanced Responders, professionally trained first responders and St John First Aiders who are licenced to carry out first aid services as well as administer a wide range of emergency medications.
St John specialises in providing the highest standard of event medical services and risk management in line with State and National guidelines. Our professionally trained volunteers can operate and manage a First Aid Facility at your next event, and will work with you to ensure the highest level of care and safety is available for your patrons.
Each year in Queensland, the First Aid Services volunteers, in their familiar black and white uniforms, care for over 7,500 sick and injured members of the public and provide more than 150,000 hours of service to their communities.
St John (Qld) is the first aid provider of choice for the Royal National Show (EKKA), Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane Entertainment Centre and a wide variety of major sporting events, fun runs, triathlons, marathons, school fetes, concerts and music festivals across the State.
St John Ambulance will provide all the first aid staff and resources required to provide excellent emergency first aid and pre-hospital care at your event including:
- A highly visible, professional, responsible and accessible presence.
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance for our members.
- Exceptional Organisational Policies and procedure framework covering matters including Duty of Care, Child Protection, Privacy, Complaints, Sexual Harassment and occupational Health and Safety.
- Infrastructure support of the highest quality including support vehicles, advanced first aid equipment, specialised first aid kits, trauma management packs, SAED defibrillators and advanced resuscitation / oxygen units.
- Back-up personnel in the event of an emergency.
- Records for all casualties treated.
